Nonprofit Marketing Is

The definition of nonprofit marketing is not pursuing or seeking material benefits.


The definition of a nonprofit marketing company is a company whose main purpose is to produce the benefit of the community and not be oriented towards pursuing money. An example of a nonprofit marketing company is a company engaged in research, nature reserves, NGOs, government units that maintain city parks or manage drinking water.

The term nonprofit marketing consists of two words namely "Non" which means no and "Profit" which means profit. Nonprofit marketing means that everything in nature does not prioritize profit. Solely to achieve certain goals and are usually oriented to the interests of the community.

For example, such as legal aid agencies or LBHs that were established to provide legal assistance to the community voluntarily. As we know, there are still many people who are blind to law and unable to pay lawyers so that when they are exposed to legal cases, most people cannot defend themselves and do not even get justice. LBH can provide legal assistance in the form of consultation or assistance in defense from lawyers.

What we hear quite often is the term nonprofit marketing organization. The definition of a nonprofit marketing organization is an organization that does not prioritize profit or profit in carrying out its activities. This organization has certain objectives related to the interests of the general public such as organizations that defend the rights of women, organizations in the field of health and education, and so forth.

Nonprofit marketing organizations are owned by the government and some are established by the private sector. As we know it has become the government's obligation to serve the interests of the community as in the field of health and education.

Hospitals and schools are a nonprofit marketing organization established by the government to serve the interests of the community so that this organization should prioritize the interests of the community. Such as free medical services at health centers and free of school fees in public schools. There are also nonprofit marketing organizations established by private parties such as political organizations and religious organizations.

Every organization certainly needs funding to carry out its activities. The sources of nonprofit marketing organization funds come from the contributions of its members and donors. Even though it is not oriented towards profitability, nonprofit marketing organizations must still be managed seriously. Even the management must be more careful. The quality must also be maintained because it deals with the interests of many people.

Do not because it's free so that the services provided are arbitrary and not optimal. We often find governmentowned hospitals that have very poor service quality so people are reluctant to seek treatment there. People are willing to pay more and choose more expensive private hospitals to get better treatment.
